Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and coordinator of the Interuniversity Doctoral Programme in Gender Studies: Culture, Society and Policy. Her main research interests include: cultural policies, women and culture, and cultural participation. She is president of the European Association of Cultural Researchers and, since 2006, the author of the Compendium profile for Spain.
